Summer!
Summer 2009 Programs...
Pinnacle
Academy:
Monday through Friday from 9:00-11:30. Students
learn tools and strategies for reading, spelling, writing, language
skills and math in small academic classes with no more than 10 – 12
students per teacher. Many of our students are dyslexic or have similar
learning differences.
Rate: $190 per week
Camp Programs:
Monday through Friday from 9:00-11:30
(morning camp) and 12:30-3:00 (afternoon camp). Students use their creativity, language,
math, and problem solving skills to do interesting and fun activities
centered on different weekly themes. New topics for this year include
crime scene investigation, gardening,
graphic arts, backyard science, fashion design, art, drama, computers, cooking,
the environment and sports. Students should bring find a lunch if they
plan to stay from 11:30-12:30.
Rate: $95 per camp per week
Individual Tutoring:
Tutoring is available in reading,
spelling, writing, math and study skills. Our language program is based
on the Orton-Gillingham approach. Times are by arrangement, Monday
through Friday, from 8-5. A minimum of at least one hour twice a week is
recommended. Rate: $45 per hour.
